We offer Shipping via Delta or Southwest cargo on orders of 6 Paddlefish or more! Anyone is welcome to pickup their order by appointment only with no minimums! *All orders are packed and prepared by Dr. Mims*

What do the Paddlefish eat ?

    ⁃    All our fish our pellet trained on High Protein Floating bass and trout feed

How often do you guys have Paddlefish ?

    ⁃    The Paddlefish are hatched once a year in the spring and are ready to be sold in early June at 4” until we run out for the season!

What temperatures can Paddlefish handle ?

    ⁃    Paddlefish are Similar to Koi in the sense that they can handle really cold and warm temperatures as long as there is plenty of oxygen in the water!

How big will my Paddlefish get ?

    ⁃    Paddlefish can grow anywhere from 5-10lbs a year. They grow bigger in ponds and lakes than they do rivers due to abundant food supply

How many Paddlefish can I stock in my pond ?

    ⁃    You can stock up to 20 Paddlefish per acre!

Are Paddlefish legal to own in my State ?

    ⁃    Rules and Regulations vary state to state on captive bred Paddlefish. It is up to the buyer to know your state laws! If you are unsure contact your local fish and game or the department of agriculture to ensure the legality of owning this species of fish in your state!

Will Paddlefish Spawn in my lake or pond ?

 

    ⁃    The answer is no! Paddlefish need fast flowing water and a gravel silt bottom to spawn
